Why I do what I do

This website will give you a glimpse into my work as an artist,  community builder and activist. I have been negotiating the world through the lens of a creative entrepreneur for the last two decades. It's been a wonderful journey with a lot of learning and collaborating with people I deeply respect.
In the coming years, I believe that creative thinkers will be crucial to document, stitch, hold and present the world. We are at the very edge of collapse on one side, and of a future that can spin out into unimaginable wonders on the other. I believe we can get to the happier side by working together!

ok, lets see now. My new work for the show is going to be going back to using myself as a model and exploring a lot with colour. i am planning on keeping the sizes small so i can carry them with me. however i’m already gravitating to larger pieces. ahhhh!! you know this is a real issue – to have to consider size and also, medium as the painting has to dry before i can carry it.

no matter – what a great opportunity – right girls?
ok, so also still thinking about some works on paper as well.
now i was wondering should i also bring pieces that we talked about during our blogging? i mean aren’t they a part of this development? i was thinking of about two. i felt it tied in with our dialogue over time. what say? in addition to this maybe four more pieces??

  • Dear Poojie… what I am plannin to do is to blog the process of the works I am creating for the show. As and when I do them. So I guess all what you have done put it up and lets disscuss it.
I am also doing small works. Planning about 10 – 15″ x 15″. Stretchers are ready… now the main work painting, I shall start too

  • nice nirali. yes, i am going to put up work as it is being done. however i am talking about previous work that we have blogged about before. thats part of the process isn’t it?

  • choice is open…would be good to have a couple samples of earlier works….totally. on the other hand, those could be printed references rather than the original…
